Cowhide ledger with leaves numbered only on recto and the list of leaseholders at the end organized in alphabetical order by surname (88v-90r.); according to the original numbering the first leaf was not numbered nor were the present leaves 79-90; the ground rent payments are recorded, as are changes of entries and conveyances until 1803.
The loose leaves and the quinternions include: 1747. At Posterla berlete [surveyed and valued by Lodovico De Giacomi] (1-2). Statement of berleta sub-leaseholds in the Municipality of Vignola, located on the bed of the Panaro, which also reports the map number taken from the municipal land ledger, leaves 3-4, berleta leasehold declarations and sketches of properties, 1767-1771 (5-15); bundle attached to n. 502 of the general protocol of 1838 containing a copy of the sentence of the lawsuit Cortese against Cavazzuti (June 5 1819), copy of the valuation and survey of the Vignola berlete located at Zenzano (April 15 1687) and a copy of the Survey of berlete under Vignola Castle surveyed and valued by Camillo Savigni (16-23); Principles and discipline established by the supreme Council of Justice for court norms, and judges of the Province of Modena as a result of the provisions contained in the government Notification of January 22 1826, joined to general protocol n. 471 of 1827 (24-25); register of owners of the Consortium in these Basse with the value of the relative lands according to the Barani valuation May 1 1819 in deeds n. 123 [with reference to the Barani and Piccinini map numbers and annotations on conveyances] (26-57).
Incipit: "Valuation of leaseholds of the most illustrious Community of Vignola made by me Giovanni Agostino Bonetti clerk of this Community, and on instructions of the same, settled in the old book of the late Domenico Maria Bonora, with the specification of the measurements, and the borders of these berlete according to the returns made by each owner, from which will be seen how much each of them must pay as annual ground rent to the afore-praised Community ..."

Maps in volume with an initial list of owners classified in alphabetical order according to surname (XXV-XXXVI), which is followed by the descriptive record of the properties of each owner reporting the extension and land value; the descriptive record has leaves that are numbered only on recto, whilst the leaves of the 12 maps and the index are not numbered. Leaf 109 has the certification of the public surveyors Giovanni Domenico Barani and Giusto Bedetti: "In the name of God this 22nd day of the month of December of the year 1786 acting in obedience to the orders of the representatives of the Community of Vignola in the last few months we undersigned the public surveyors have surveyed and valued all the properties of the territory, calculated the area in biolche (acres) and noted the value in the entry of each owner, and therewith formed the present book, or land register, although performed by another but trusted hand, and collated with the country-folk, which we present to the same Regents for the performance report ..."
Incipit: In the year of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ MDCCLXXXVI the general land register was renewed per aes et libram of the illustrious Community of Vignola and as noted in the entries of each owner"

Ledger with unnumbered leaves, in which the land returns and the relevant taxes paid to the community for the year 1656 are reported; it also contains Leaseholds on lands known as berlete in the Panara floodplain (leaves 25-30) and These are properties located in the Basse di Vignola which are continuously flooded by the river Panara, and in part already eroded 32-35)

Cowhide ledger with leaves numbered only on recto and list of tax-payers listed at the front in alphabetical order by name (2-4), in which are reported the collection of land taxes for the years 1674-1676 (with some annotations of 1686); according to the original numbering the first three leaves are not numbered; at the back there is a summary of the collections made by Domenico Simonini, delegated for the taxes conceded by the duke of Modena to the Commuity of Vignola and the note of the monies he consigned to Vallicelli, the Community's trustee (146).
Incipit: "In the name of God, the most Immaculate Virgin Mary and our patron saints Nazarius and Celsus. Ledger for the collection of taxes conceded by His most Serene Highness of Modena on the acres of Vignola territory to the benefit of the Illustrious Community of Vignola, in which book any debtor may see the money owed, which he must pay annually on his meeting on a six-monthly basis with the collecting agent who for his settlement will have the same made by me the undersigned [Nicolò Vallicelli] on the 30th of June 1674 on order of the men of the Community of Vignola ..."

Cowhide ledger of which remain the board structure and the hole for the strings, with leaves numbered only on the back and the list of owners at the front organized in alphabetical order by name (3-5), in which are reported the collection of land taxes for the years 1667-1693; according to the original numbering the first 6 leaves are not numbered not are the present n. 23 and 58; at the end of the register there is a Copy of the report of Mr Francesco Gazzuoli steward of His Serene Highness on the acreage (biolche) tax, and other data recorded in this ledger on order of His Serene Highness's most illustrious secretaries ut infra vedetur of the 8th June 1680 (166-168), a summary of November 20 1697 concerning the collections made by Francesco Antonio Muratori delegate for the taxes conceded by the Duke of Modena to the Community of Vignola and the credit note settled by him with the revenue deriving from the tax on acreage (biolche) and duties imposed at the silkworm market and the gate, statement of accounts reviewed by the community council April 16 1698 (175-176); finally there is an annotation of May 23 1707 regarding the settlement of a debt with Ludovico Antonio Muratori (178); the loose leaves consist of notes and debit notes and interest paid by the community for assessable income.

Ledger for the collection of taxes conceded by His most Serene Highness of Modena on the acres of the territory of Vignola and other, to the benefit and relief of the Illustrious Community of Vignola, in which book any debtor may see the money owed, which he must pay annually in two instalments with his meeting on a six-monthly basis with the collecting agent who for his settlement will have the same made by me the undersigned [Nicolò Vallicelli] on the 30h of November 1676 commissioned by the gentlemen of the Community of Vignola".
