Folder containing marquisate bans, proclamations, notifications and notices proclaimed respectively during the governorships of Antonio Federico Corradini (1697-1705), Lorenzo Luigi Benveduti (1707-1719), Francesco Fabrizio Agostini (1720-1722), Domenico Nicoḷ Mastini (1723), Gaspare Ettore Clavari (1724-1733), Jacopo Conti (1733-1734), Giovanni Maria Paradisi (1734-1738), Giuseppe Marconi (1738-1743), Filippo Farri (1744-1748), Alessandro Brancaleoni (1748-1753), Giulio de Nobili (1753-1764), Ercole Faella (1765-1767), Domenico Benedetti (1768-1770), Giuseppe Valenti (1771-1776), Pietro Paolo Piroli (1776-1779) and Tommaso Ferdinando Bavelli (1779-1796); it also includes a small bundle of bans and proclamations enacted during the Cisalpine Republic (1799) and two bundles divided by subject, that still have the original band from the nineteenth-century reclassification: “Rent and excise” (1707-1783) and “Oven and hostelries” (1736-1782).

The classification according to subject covers bans concerning health regarding epidemics and epizooties that broke out in the first few decades of and at the end of the eighteenth century.
